Swoopr — Privacy Policy

Effective 5 July 2026 · Matjaž Zagorc

Swoopr is a personal companion app that displays your own WHOOP data on your iPhone and Apple Watch. This policy explains what data it handles and how. In short: Swoopr has no servers and never sends your data anywhere — everything stays on your own devices.

What data Swoopr accesses

When you connect your WHOOP account, Swoopr uses WHOOP's official API with your explicit authorization (OAuth) to read your own WHOOP metrics: recovery, cycles (day strain), and sleep — including HRV, resting heart rate, sleep stages, and respiratory rate. Swoopr requests read-only access and requires an active WHOOP membership; it cannot access anyone else's data.

How your data is used

Solely to show you your own metrics as rings, watch-face complications, and detail pages. Swoopr performs no analytics, profiling, advertising, or tracking on your health data.

Where your data is stored

Sharing

Swoopr does not sell, license, share, transmit, or expose your data to any other user or third party. Your data never leaves your devices except in the direct, authorized request from your device to WHOOP's own API to fetch it.

Retention & deletion

Data lives only on your devices. Tapping Log out deletes the stored tokens and on-device metrics. Deleting the app removes all its data.

Third-party services

The only third-party service is WHOOP, the source of your data, accessed under your authorization and subject to WHOOP's own terms and privacy policy. Swoopr uses no analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising SDKs.

Children

Swoopr is not directed to children and requires a WHOOP membership.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
